        On the coast of Georgia, Savannah's Gullah Geechee community still celebrates its foodways in the form of 'good friends' and the 'freshest catch'.  On Friday's - the end of the work week for many - we still look forward to gathering for a 'Friday Night Fish Fry'.

      Join us on the grounds of the Ralph Mark Gilbert Museum  in historic downtown Savananh for a  Gullah Geechee foodways, folkways and spiritual culinary experience.  

      Our menu is filled with fresh, local (filet)  fried whiting, Savannah Red Rice, cole slaw, grilled vegetables and lots of  the best sweet tea on da' coast of Georgia! For an extra cost - we're throwing in the famous *Low Country Boil- a culmination of seasoned boiled shrimp, corn, crabs, gold yukon potatoes and an (*optional beef sausage).

      Come 'Jine' Master Storyteller Patt Gunn & The Satlwata Players in local folk music, acapella singin', tambourines, rain sticks and more!  Vendors are invited with authentic visual arts for visitors to experience authentic Gullah Geechee gifts like sweetgrass baskets, textiles, music and more.
