A 4th of July, 2020 Special Edition Walk for Healing & Reconciliation

~ WHAT IS THE 4TH OF JULY TO THE PEEPUL IN THE 21ST CENTURY?

So, when the Declaration of Independence was signed on July 2, 1776 by the 13 Delegates from the 13 Colonies in America - It did NOT include the independence of ENSLAVED AFRICANS who dwelled in bondage during the Antebellum circa (1748-1864) in Savannah, GA.

~ Come 'Walk With Us' as authentic Gullah Geechee 'Truth-Tellers' share their Descendant stories of their Ancestors' Journey from Slavery to Freedom. Let us share and show U the history of  the sacred places and spaces where our Ancestors dwelled for over 119 years on the GA coast.
